On the other hand, the highly unique compound resveratrol, which has become a wildly popular supplement, differs from superfruits in that it acts in the body in different ways.  Resveratrol has made a name for itself due to its anti-aging effects.  The compound can be found in the skin of fruits and in wine, but must be distilled down into a supplement in order to have an impressive impact.

Using Superfruits and Resveratrol Together:

Those looking to supplement wisely may want to consider incorporating superfruits and resveratrol into their diet.  It is important to keep in mind that many fruits are very high in their respective ORAC values, yet have not earned the "superfruit" distinction.  A few good examples of common foods that have high ORAC values are prunes, blackberries, pecans, raw cacao and even strawberries.
